Tanner Tees Forms Partnership with Kevin Wilson Baseball
Sarasota, Florida (January 4, 2016) — Tanners Tees, a Sarasota company that produces batting tees and training products for the baseball and softball industry, has formed a partnership with Kevin Wilson Baseball (KWB). Founded by former professional baseball player, Kevin Wilson, KWB is a hitting consultant to major and minor league players as well as amateur athletes looking to improve their hitting skills. His clients also have access to a proprietary KWB Analytics Department in order to create a 3-D approach to their at-bats and to maximize their development. Headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, KWB has national and international clients.
Invented by former professional coach and player, Joe H. Tanner, the Tanner Tee has been the industry standard batting tee for 25 years and is used at every level of play, from tee ball to the professional leagues. “Tanner Tees has been a staple at KWB since our inception in 2001. During my career, it was the only tee that I wanted to use because of its durability and flexibility,” said Kevin Wilson. “It’s a tremendous honor to be able to work closely with the Tanner Tees staff on developing new products and showcasing all of the unique ways that hitters and coaches can get better with Tanner products.”
In addition to being a hitting consultant, Kevin Wilson also offers the KWB Experience where he travels to the client’s location for workouts and speaking engagements. And while players must master a host of skills to become a great hitter, it all starts with tee work. “To say that the tee is the basis of everything we do at KWB would be an understatement. It’s such a powerful tool for our hitters to work on the development of their swing on a daily routine,” added Kevin Wilson.
